About the lab

An interventional radiology research lab at UTMB Health.

We study image-guided therapy across vascular, oncologic, and emergency disease, with a focus on procedural technique, pre-procedural imaging, patient outcomes, and trainee scholarship at UTMB. The lab is led by Arsalan Saleem, MD.

Clinical IR

Minimally invasive, image-guided care across venous disease, prostate therapy, vascular intervention, trauma imaging, and pregnancy-related IR.

Patient selection, imaging findings, procedural technique, recovery, complications, access, and long-term clinical results.
